Plan to demolish famous pub
Hourican’s on Leeson Street is to be demolished under a plan submitted to Dublin City Council.
Green Taverns, which is owned by Patrick and Mary Hourican, has applied to demolish the pub and a neighbouring property, and to construct a six-storey building on the site. It would provide a new pub on the ground and first floor levels and four floors of office accommodation overhead.
