The Irish consumer drinks more 7Up per capita than any other consumer in the world, according to C&C Wholesale. 7UP accounts for over 90 per cent of all lemon and lime sales here with 94 per cent of all on-trade outlets in Ireland stocking the brand which will be running an innovative, high-impact promotion throughout the month of November as part of its Autumn campaign. The new on-trade consumer promotion - ‘Name The Bar…Win The Car!’ - gives away three brand new Peugeot 207 cars. 500 bars nationwide will be taking part in the promotion which also features heavyweight press and online activity.
Every day during November €700 will be given away to one lucky 7UP customer in one of the participating pubs. The promotion is also running online with consumers invited to log onto www.7upnamethebar.com to identify pictures of well-known Irish bars. The first person to identify the bar each day wins €700.
A similar promotion is also running in The Star newspaper with readers being asked to identify pubs from printed photographs with one person who correctly identifies the pub winning €700 each day.
Everyone who enters the promotion, either in-pub, online or in the newspaper will be entered into a draw to win one of the star prizes of a brand new Peugeot 207.
The promotion is being supported with a suite of in-pub POS including posters, showcards and entry leaflets.

The new promotion follows on from 7UP’s popular and successful St Patrick’s Day promotion as well as its high-impact summer promotion with Motorola and its MOTO SLVR phone.
